Yoga is an umbrella term that refers to a an immense physical and spritiual practice. I specialize mainly in asana, the movement and postural limb of yoga. Yamas and Niyamas are also of tremendous interest to me and over the past 10 years my practice has naturally evolved into the study of interaction, social awareness and justice, communication techniques, support and trust. Yoga has been a part of my life for almost 25 years now.
Most of my workshops and classes are offered at STUDIO MILE END, a bustling and welcoming studio in the heart of Montreal. SME has been home for almost a decade and I am deeply involved in the development and implementation of continued learning programs as well as teaching weekly classes.
200hr Yoga Teacher Training
This program is a perfect training to deepen your understanding of the many facets of yoga. It is a complete program that boasts teachings in philosophy, subtle body practices, meditation, pranayama, asana and movement, social awareness, and the skills needed to share the practice with others. Advanced Yoga Teacher Training
This 100hr training was imagined and created through a collaboration with myself and Terri McCollum, a long-time practitioner, teacher, and scholar. If you are already teaching yoga, this program is designed to inspire you in your practice and classes. You’ll plunge back into alignment diagnostics and assessment, philosophy and ways to apply it directly to your sequences and teachings, adjusting practitioners with intelligence and confidence, and building captivating, inspiring sequences. Mentorship Program
If you are a teacher and want to improve your classes, your communication, and/or your ability to hold space, SME recently launched this unique program for you. You’ll be teamed up one-on-one with an experienced teacher at the studio. Through a structured schedule of observing, assisting, and teaching classes, you and your mentor will identify what to work on and how.
